Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Billing Manager to oversee and monitor hospital billing operations across Shalby hospitals. The role will be responsible for ensuring billing accuracy, process compliance, performance monitoring, MIS reporting, and coordination with Unit Billing Heads to drive operational efficiency and standardisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee end-to-end hospital billing operations across Shalby units.
- Coordinate with Unit Billing Heads to ensure smooth and timely billing processes.
- Review billing performance, productivity, revenue realisation, and operational KPIs across units.
- Monitor billing processes and identify gaps, discrepancies, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Ensure adherence to billing policies, processes, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare, analyse, and consolidate billing MIS and management reports for corporate review.
- Track billing trends and unit-wise performance and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct periodic reviews with Unit Billing teams and follow up on pending issues and action points.
- Support resolution of complex billing-related operational issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across billing reports and systems.
- Assist management in developing and implementing billing controls, benchmarks, and performance improvement initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing operations and healthcare revenue cycle processes.
- Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end hospital billing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent MS Excel skills with the ability to analyse large datasets and prepare MIS.
- Strong understanding of Billing MIS, KPIs, and performance reporting.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple hospital units and stakeholders.
- Strong process orientation with focus on controls, compliance, and accuracy.
- Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
