We are looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Indian tandoor cuisine and the ability to maintain quality, consistency, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of tandoor dishes including rotis, naans, kebabs, and tandoori starters
- Ensure consistent taste, portion control, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety standards
- Monitor tandoor temperature and equipment maintenance
- Assist in menu planning and new dish development (if required)
- Manage raw material usage and reduce food wastage
- Coordinate with kitchen team during peak hours
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years experience as a Tandoor Chef
- Strong knowledge of Indian & Tandoor cuisine
- Experience in restaurant or hotel kitchens
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety
- Immediate joiners preferred
