JOB PURPOSE:
To serve as the primary field inspector for all WHR equipment (Boilers, Pumps, Turbine auxiliary systems, and WTP) while maintaining the qualified skill set and experience necessary to step in and operate the Central Control Room (DCS) as a backup operator during emergencies, peak workloads, or shift shortages.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct scheduled hourly rounds to inspect SP and AQC boilers.
- Check for steam, water, or oil leaks and abnormal piping expansions.
- Safely start, stop, and switch over auxiliary field equipment and pumps.
- Operate and clear the ash handling system to prevent cement dust clogging.
- Oversee and verify the proper sequence of the boiler rapping/soot-blowing systems.
- Maintain optimal heat transfer by ensuring effective cleaning of boiler tubes.
- Operate the Water Treatment Plant and collect water samples daily.
- Execute mechanical/electrical isolation procedures and apply Lockout/Tagout.
- Act as Backup CRO: Cover the control room desk during emergencies or shortages.
- Monitor DCS parameters diligently when stepping in for the primary CRO.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Education: Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Operations.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years total experience, including active dual field/DCS training (4years in Cement WHR).
- Computer Skills: High proficiency in (DCS) and Microsoft office.
- Language Skills: Good English to comprehend DCS alarms and communicate with Kiln control room operators.
