Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Lab Technician to join our Diagnostic Laboratory. The ideal candidate should have expertise in performing laboratory investigations, operating laboratory equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supervising routine laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, serology, microbiology, and immunology investigations.
- Collect, process, and analyze patient samples following standard laboratory protocols.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
- Ensure accurate reporting of test results and maintain proper laboratory documentation.
- Follow quality control procedures and NABH guidelines.
- Supervise and guide junior laboratory technicians and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and laboratory safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents, consumables, and equipment.
- Coordinate with consultants and clinicians for timely reporting of critical values.
- Participate in internal quality assurance and external quality control programs.
Qualifications
- DMLT / BMLT / MMLT from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or multi-speciality hospital.
- Experience in handling automated laboratory analyzers is preferred.
