Job Summary
BoatCraft Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Factory Manager cum Supervisor to oversee day-to-day factory operations at our boat manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have a strong production background with hands-on knowledge of moulding (FRP), carpentry, and factory supervision. The role requires ensuring smooth production, maintaining quality standards, managing manpower, and meeting production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities.
- Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Lead and manage factory workers across moulding, carpentry, assembly, and finishing departments.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitor productivity and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping within the factory.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and management teams for smooth workflow.
- Inspect work progress and resolve production-related issues promptly.
- Train and guide workers on best manufacturing practices.
- Prepare daily production reports and update management on project status.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in factory production or manufacturing supervision.
- Hands-on knowledge of FRP moulding, carpentry and boat or marine manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Experience in managing production teams and shop-floor operations.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and material management is an advantage.
- Good communication and team management skills.
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Candidates with experience in boat manufacturing, shipbuilding, FRP fabrication, or similar manufacturing industries will be given preference.
