We are looking for a customer-focused and enthusiastic Cashier / Sales Executive to join our retail team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, driving sales, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring an exceptional in-store shopping experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the store.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and usage.
- Promote ongoing offers, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Maintain product displays and ensure the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
Cashier Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as per company policy.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and daily sales.
- Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with cash-handling procedures.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area.
- Assist in stock management, replenishment, and inventory checks.
- Handle customer queries and resolve concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass); Graduate preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service.
- Experience using systems and handling cash transactions is preferred.
