Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Workshop Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our automobile workshop in Haldwani.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily workshop operations and workflow.
- Supervise mechanics and workshop staff.
- Assign repair and service jobs to technicians.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired properly and on time.
- Inspect completed work and maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with customers regarding vehicle repairs and service requirements.
- Manage workshop tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Maintain records of jobs, parts used, and workshop expenses.
- Monitor technician productivity and ensure discipline.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the workshop.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an automobile workshop is preferred.
- Experience managing mechanics/technicians will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and staff efficiently.
- Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
- Candidates from Haldwani or nearby areas preferred.
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹47,847.10 per month, negotiable depending on experience and capability.
