Role Summary
The Dynamics CRM Project Manager is responsible for end to end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role acts as the primary interface between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership, managing delivery governance, risks, dependencies, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Own end to end project delivery for Dynamics 365 CRM implementations, upgrades, and rollouts
- Define and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies
- Track scope, cost, effort, and timelines; manage change requests and approvals
- Establish delivery governance, reporting cadence, and escalation mechanisms
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal leadership
- Manage expectations of business, IT, and vendor stakeholders
- Facilitate steering committee meetings, status reviews, and decision forums
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and CRM solution delivery
Team & Delivery Management
- Lead cross functional teams (CRM developers, architects, functional consultants, QA, data migration, OCM)
- Manage onshore-offshore delivery model and resource planning
- Coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning
- Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Manage dependencies across CRM, integrations, data migration, and downstream systems
- Drive resolution of delivery blockers with technical and functional leads
Agile / Hybrid Delivery
- Drive delivery using Agile / Scrum or hybrid methodologies
- Ensure sprint goals, acceptance criteria, and deliverables are clearly defined
- Monitor velocity, burn down, and delivery health metrics
Financial & Commercial Management
- Track project financials, billing milestones, and revenue recognition
- Manage vendor dependencies and effort forecasting
- Support audits, compliance checks, and contractual obligations
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Strong experience managing Microsoft Dynamics CRM / D365 CE projects
- End to end delivery experience across Sales, Service, Marketing, or Field Service modules
- Solid understanding of CRM data migration, integrations, and release cycles
- Proven experience in client facing delivery roles
- Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum delivery frameworks
- Experience working in large transformation programs
