Job Summary
Roots Foundation is looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer with 1–2 years of experience to create engaging digital content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand communications. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to transform ideas into compelling visual content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms, including Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Design engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual effects.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop impactful video content.
- Enhance videos through color correction, sound synchronization, transitions, and graphics.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and content formats.
- Organize and manage video assets and project files efficiently.
- Ensure timely delivery of creative content while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Canva
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing techniques.
- Experience creating content optimized for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of videography and camera handling.
- Experience working with NGOs, social impact organizations, or digital marketing teams is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
