We are looking for a skilled Printer Technician with 1 year of hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining laser, inkjet, and multifunction printers. The ideal candidate should be capable of diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing preventive maintenance, and providing on-site customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain laser, inkjet, and multifunction printers.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues such as rollers, fusers, drum units, power supplies, and print heads.
- Troubleshoot printer connectivity issues over USB, LAN, and Wi-Fi.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
- Install and update printer drivers and firmware.
- Replace printer consumables including toner cartridges, drums, and maintenance kits.
- Handle customer service requests and provide on-site technical support.
- Maintain service reports and document repairs.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and spare parts procurement.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints while maintaining service quality.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, Xerox, Ricoh, or Kyocera printers.
- Experience in printer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP configuration, printer sharing, network printing).
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and printer driver installation.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel for field service visits when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI/B.E. in Electronics, Computer Hardware, IT, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in printer servicing and maintenance.
- Experience with multifunction printers and network printers is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
