6. Produces designs by developing concepts relaying with the project’s requirement and providing work direction to co – workers
7. Meet design thinking work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards
8. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations
9. Determine the message the design should portray
10. Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
11. Create designs either by hand or by using computer software packages
12. Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites
13. Select colors, images, text style, and layout
14. Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
15. Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors
16. Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
17. Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment.
18. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
19. Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
20. Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
