A Primary Mother Teacher is responsible for teaching multiple subjects to young students (typically Grades 1–5), nurturing their academic, emotional, and social development in a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Academic Duties
- Teach core subjects such as:
- English
- Mathematics
- Environmental Studies (EVS)
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons
- Use interactive teaching methods (stories, activities, visuals)
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and observations
2. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
- Organize classroom seating, materials, and displays
- Ensure students follow school rules and routines
3. Student Development
- Support emotional and social growth of children
- Identify learning difficulties or behavioral issues
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and participation
4. Parental Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings (PTMs)
- Provide regular feedback on student performance and behavior
5. Administrative Duties
- Maintain attendance records and student files
- Prepare report cards and progress reports
- Assist in school events, activities, and functions
6. Co-curricular Activities
- Organize and supervise:
- Arts and crafts
- Storytelling sessions
- Games and extracurricular activities
Required Skills

- Basic computer skills (for online teaching/reporting)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education or relevant subject)
- D.El.Ed / B.Ed (often required) Montessari Training
- Prior teaching experience (preferred but not always mandatory)

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
