Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Job Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspection of mechanical components using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerance requirements.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Operate CMM and other metrology equipment for component verification.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare quality reports.
- Perform calibration and verification of measuring instruments.
- Identify quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and inspection procedures.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience with CMM operation is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, precision machining, or manufacturing industries.
- GD&T or CMM certification is an added advantage.
