Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Associate – KPO (Finance) to join our team at Shirwal. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles, along with the ability to manage financial records, statutory compliance, and reporting activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
- Pass journal entries and perform bank reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end closing activities.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
GST Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
- Reconcile GST data with books of accounts.
- Manage Input Tax Credit (ITC) and ensure GST compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments for GST-related documentation.
- Handle GST notices, assessments, and related queries.
TDS Compliance
- Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable regulations.
- Prepare and file TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
- Issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A).
- Reconcile TDS transactions with Form 26AS.
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax regulations.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and compliance records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Commerce Graduate (B.Com or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- In-depth understanding of GST and TDS regulations.
- Expertise in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Data Analysis, Reporting, etc.).
- Good understanding of statutory compliance and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
