Role Overview:
The incumbent shall be responsible for building, managing, and converting a pipeline of CSR, PSU, and Government-funded opportunities across the NCR and North Zone, translating institutional funding into industry-aligned skilling and certification programmes delivered through MSU's Awarding Body. The role carries end-to-end ownership of a defined revenue target (sanctioned and collected), from opportunity identification and partner engagement to proposal development, funding sanction, and collections. The incumbent will also ensure timely submission and maintenance of all compliance and statutory documentation required to secure, administer, and report CSR-funded projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pipeline, Field Coverage & Engagement

Identify and engage corporate CSR heads, foundations, PSUs and government stakeholders across the North Zone.

Conduct own field visits and institutional meetings across the assigned territory.
-
Build CXO-level relationships; maintain pipeline coverage of at least 3× the quarterly target.
-
Represent MSU at CSR forums and networking events in the zone.
2. Proposals & Closure
-
Develop concept notes, proposals and commercial structures; lead presentations and negotiations.

Drive closure through MoU / agreement execution and tranche-1 collection.
3. Onboarding, Delivery & Collections
-
Onboard Training Partners and institutions delivering funded and CSR programmes; take them live to first batch within the agreed activation TAT.

Execute a complete handover to Operations / KAM.

Jointly with the assigned KAM, ensure projects activate on schedule and tranche collections stay current.

Monitor partner performance, renewals and long-term relationship health.
4. Compliance & Systems

Maintain complete CSR compliance documentation - MoU, CSR-1, utilisation certificates, impact reporting in audit-ready condition.

Maintain Zoho CRM, pipeline and field-visit records at 95% currency.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
-
MBA or Post Graduate preferred. 4-7 years of experience in CSR, institutional business development, corporate relations or the social impact sector.

Education, skilling, livelihood or CSR ecosystem experience preferred.

Working knowledge of Companies Act s.135, Schedule VII, CSR-1 registration and utilisation certificates.

Valid driving licence; genuine willingness to travel 10-12 days per month across the northern states.

Proposal writing and impact-metric framing.
-
CXO/ CHRO engagement and commercial negotiation.

Field prospecting and institutional onboarding.
-
CSR regulatory literacy; pipeline MIS and CRM discipline.
Essential Selection Criteria:

Hands-on experience in successfully closing at least three CSR projects, with the ability to share project values and timelines.

Good understanding of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Schedule VII, with the ability to apply these in practice.

Comfortable managing a field-based role with regular travel across the assigned territory.

Strong proposal writing and business presentation skills.
Note: Travel for maximum 15-20 days per month within the zone will be required.
