We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor & Social Media Executive who can help us create engaging video content and manage our social media presence.
Role Description
The Video Editor & Social Media Executive will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video content for the company's social media platforms, marketing campaigns, projects, and promotional activities.
The candidate will also assist with video shooting, reels creation, content planning, and day-to-day social media management.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos, reels, shorts, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Shoot videos for company projects, office activities, products, services, and promotional campaigns.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn videos, and other social media content.
- Manage and regularly update company social media accounts.
- Upload and schedule posts, reels, videos, and other content.
- Add transitions, music, text, subtitles, graphics, and basic effects to videos.
- Perform basic color correction and audio synchronization.
- Work with the marketing and design team to create creative content.
- Follow current social media trends and suggest new content ideas.
- Maintain and organize video footage, images, and other media files.
Skills Required
- Basic to good knowledge of video editing.
- Knowledge of Filmora or other editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Basic knowledge of video shooting and camera/mobile videography.
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Creative thinking and good visual sense.
- Basic understanding of reels, transitions, music, storytelling, and social media trends.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
- Willingness to learn new editing tools and techniques.
Experience
Fresher to 1 year of experience
Freshers with good editing skills, creativity, and a portfolio/sample work are encouraged to apply.
Salary Range: ₹8,000 – ₹16,000 per month, based on skills, experience, and quality of work.
Important: This is a full-time, on-site position in Kanpur. Only candidates currently based in Kanpur should apply.
