Position 1 – Vendor Relationship ExecutiveRole Overview
The Vendor Relationship Executive is responsible for working directly with business owners who wish to sell their businesses. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to understand business financial information while maintaining outstanding vendor relationships throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to business owners to generate new business listings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Understand vendors' business operations and selling objectives.
- Explain the business sales process clearly and professionally.
- Collect, review, and follow up on required business documentation.
- Understand and discuss business financial documents, including Profit & Loss Statements.
- Identify missing documentation and ensure timely follow-up.
- Address vendor concerns professionally and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with internal marketing and sales teams.
- Maintain detailed and accurate CRM notes after every client interaction.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and organised.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Position 2 – Business Development Executive (Sales Team)Role Overview
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying qualified buyers, generating new business opportunities, conducting outbound prospecting, arranging inspections, negotiating with buyers, and supporting successful business sales from enquiry through to settlement.
This is a high-performance sales role suited to confident professionals with excellent communication and closing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective buyers.
- Qualify buyers based on financial capacity and purchasing requirements.
- Present suitable business opportunities.
- Explain business financial information confidently.
- Arrange buyer meetings and business inspections.
- Follow structured sales processes from enquiry through to settlement.
- Build strong relationships with buyers and vendors.
- Handle objections professionally and confidently.
- Negotiate effectively to achieve successful outcomes.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up schedules.
- Work independently while consistently achieving KPIs.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years' experience in outbound sales, business development, telemarketing, or cold calling.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Professional telephone etiquette.
- Ability to confidently communicate with Australian clients.
- Good understanding of business financial statements, including:
- Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheet, Revenue & Expenses & Gross Profit & Net Profit
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
