Role Overview
- We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee and optimize factory operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in production management, process optimization, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment. The candidate should also be well-versed with the implementation of management tools like Kaizen, Six Sigma, Kanban and 5S.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet targets.
- Implement efficient production processes and improve operational workflows.
- Manage workforce allocation, productivity, and performance.
- Ensure optimal utilization of machinery, including CNC equipment.
- Monitor quality control standards and minimize defects/wastage.
- Maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with procurement, design, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and maintenance protocols.
- Prepare production reports and performance metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in production/factory management.
- Strong knowledge of management tools like Kaizen, Six Sigma, Kanban and 5S.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow optimization.
- Experience in managing teams and improving productivity.
- Familiarity with CNC-based or automated production environments is a plus.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a structured and fast-paced environment.
