The TMMS & VoIP System Designer is responsible for the design, engineering, integration, testing, and maintenance support of Telecommunications Maintenance Management Systems (TMMS) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems for railway, metro, airport, and infrastructure projects. The role ensures reliable communication, centralized monitoring, fault management, and maintenance of telecom systems in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Suitable for Railway, Metro, Airport, Data Centre, and Critical Infrastructure Telecommunication Projects.
Key Responsibilities -TMMS Design & Engineering
- Develop Telecom Maintenance Management System architecture and design.
- Define monitoring and control requirements for telecom subsystems.
- Design interfaces between TMMS and telecom systems, including:
- CCTV
- PA/PIDS
- Telephone Systems
- Radio Systems
- Transmission Networks
- Access Control Systems
- Network Equipment
- UPS Systems
- Develop alarm management and event logging functionalities.
- Configure SNMP-based network monitoring and management solutions.
- Prepare telecom asset management databases and maintenance workflows.
VoIP System Design
- Design IP-based telephony architecture and network topology.
- Define SIP-based communication requirements.
- Configure and integrate:
- IP-PBX Systems

- Media Gateways
- VoIP Phones
- Softphones
- Voice Recording Systems
- Develop dial plans, numbering schemes, and call routing strategies.
- Ensure interoperability with legacy telephone systems and emergency communication systems.
Integration & Interface Management
- Coordinate with signalling, SCADA, AFC, ICT, and telecom teams.
- Define interface requirements between TMMS, VoIP, and other railway systems.
- Support integration activities during system implementation and commissioning.
- Resolve communication and network interoperability issues.
Testing & Commissioning
- Prepare Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures.
- Support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Conduct functionality, performance, and redundancy testing.
- Verify alarm reporting, fault management, and call quality requirements.
- Support troubleshooting during commissioning and operations.

Educational Qualification
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in:

Experience

- 8-15 years of experience in telecom system design and integration.
- Experience in railway, metro, airport, smart city, or infrastructure projects preferred.
Senior Designer / Lead Engineer
