Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore and develop their artistic abilities through various mediums and techniques. They will be responsible for designing engaging lesson plans, fostering a love for art, and integrating creativity into the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that meets educational standards.
- Teach students fundamental and advanced art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
- Encourage creativity and self-expression while providing constructive feedback.
- Organize art projects, exhibitions, and community-based creative initiatives.
- Assess student progress and provide individualized support where necessary.
- Maintain a well-organized and resourceful art classroom.
- Stay updated with new trends, materials, and teaching strategies in the art field.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into cross-disciplinary activities.
- Ensure the proper care and storage of art supplies and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly skilled artists.
- Strong understanding of different artistic techniques and materials.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and mentor students with varying artistic abilities.
- Proficiency in digital art tools is a plus.
