Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate to support workforce transformation initiatives by supporting program execution and governance, process optimization, and change management across organizational assessments, redesigns, and transformation initiatives, including but not limited to payroll and human resources engagements for our clients.
In this role, you will collaborate across the Workforce Transformation team to support client engagements through client development, content development, data collection and analysis, and business development activities. This work will help shape the future of Workforce Transformation at Grant Thornton and enable organizations to better align people, processes, and technology for sustainable outcomes. You will work under the guidance of Senior Associates and Managers to execute defined tasks and deliverables, while building technical skills, consulting judgment, and professional, client‑ready behaviors.
Your day‑to‑day may include:
- Support workforce transformation initiatives across organizational change, HR, payroll, and workforce operations using Grant Thornton methodologies and tools.
- Support execution of communications through appropriate channels to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Support the design and development of training and learning content.
- Support cultural integration efforts during reorganizations, team expansions, and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrate a professional and competent demeanor in team or client‑facing settings.
- Deliver timely and high‑quality work products that require minimal rework.
- Contribute to the development and execution of workforce, stakeholder, and capability assessment frameworks and project plans.
- Build a working understanding of client workforce operations, risks, governance structures, and business drivers to inform delivery and recommendations.
- Develop a foundational understanding of HR, talent management, and change management practices.
- Support delivery of workstreams by executing assigned tasks, tracking progress, and meeting quality and timeline expectations.
- Maintain project documentation including work plans, status updates, risks and issues logs, and action trackers.
- Support program governance activities such as status tracking, issue follow‑up, and escalation preparation.
- Collaborate closely with engagement team members to ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, and aligned with project objectives.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data related to workforce operations, HR, payroll, and organizational readiness.
- Support development of data‑driven insights and recommendations through analysis, research, and documentation.
- Assist with process documentation, requirements gathering, and validation activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
