Key Responsibilities:
- Meticulously examine research documents, reports, journals, articles, and academic content for grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy in written content before publication or submission.
- Edit and proofread documents while maintaining the original meaning and academic integrity.
- Verify formatting, references, citations, and document structure as per institutional or publication guidelines.
- Coordinate with researchers, faculty members, and authors for corrections and content improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality of research materials and departmental documents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Word, Google Docs, and editing tools.
- Strong reading, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Good typing speed with attention to detail.
- Excellent command over written English and grammar.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in academic proofreading, research documentation, or publication support will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with research formatting styles and citation standards is preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
