Job Summary
The Hospital Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective healthcare services. This role involves managing staff, budgets, regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency while supporting the hospital's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hospital departments.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage hospital budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Supervise administrative and clinical support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor patient care quality and implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate with physicians, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
- Analyze operational and financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead quality improvement, risk management, and infection control initiatives.
- Ensure the availability and maintenance of hospital equipment, supplies, and facilities.
- Develop emergency preparedness and disaster management plans.
- Represent the hospital in meetings with government agencies, healthcare partners, and the community.
