Hips N Toez Dance Studio is a growing dance studio located in T. Nagar, Chennai, offering dance training for toddlers, kids, teenagers, and adults. We conduct Freestyle, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, Dance Fitness, and choreography for stage performances, weddings, schools, colleges, and corporate events.
Hips 'N' Toez Dance Studio is looking for a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team.
The ideal candidate should be confident teaching students of different age groups, including kids and adults, while creating a fun and positive learning environment.
Position
Dance Instructor (Kids & Adults)
Experience
Freshers with exceptional dance skills are welcome to apply. Teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach dance classes for kids and adults.
- Plan and conduct fun, engaging, and structured dance sessions.
- Choreograph routines for performances, competitions, school and college events, weddings, and special occasions.
- Prepare students for stage performances and showcases.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Motivate students and help them improve their confidence and dance skills.
- Assist with studio events and promotional activities when required.
Requirements
- Previous dance teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of one or more dance styles such as Freestyle, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, Contemporary, Cinematic, Folk, Street Dance Styles or Dance Fitness.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Friendly, energetic, punctual, and passionate about teaching.
- Comfortable teaching students of different age groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dance instructor.
- Performance or competition experience is an advantage.
