Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complete Blown Film Extrusion Department operations.
- Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.
- Monitor extrusion parameters, machine performance, output quality, and wastage control.
- Handle production planning and coordinate with Printing, Packaging, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
- Maintain product quality as per customer specifications and industry standards.
- Handle customer compliance requirements, ensure timely closure of compliance-related actions, and coordinate with internal teams for resolution within defined timelines.
- Ensure customer complaints, observations, and corrective actions are addressed effectively and on time.
- Implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.
- Manage and develop department manpower, shift planning, and workforce allocation.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, SOPs, compliance requirements, and company policies.
- Analyze production reports, machine efficiencies, rejection data, and corrective actions.
- Handle troubleshooting related to blown film extrusion processes and machinery.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores for raw material planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production and operational excellence.
- Ensure proper administration, discipline, and smooth functioning of the department.
- Generate and review MIS reports and departmental performance metrics.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP preferred) for production planning, inventory management, reporting, and operational controls.
