Architect Annie is a design-led architecture practice with expertise in residential architecture, luxury interiors, and design-focused project execution. As our design team grows, we are looking for an experienced Interior Project Manager to lead project coordination from design handover through successful project completion.
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and execution-focused Interior Project Manager to oversee the implementation of residential and commercial interior projects. The role will serve as the primary link between the design team, contractors, vendors, and clients, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with approved designs and quality standards.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing interior fit-out projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, resolving site issues, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Site Execution & Quality Control:
- Conduct regular site visits across active projects.
- Monitor execution against approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.
- Review workmanship across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, ceilings, painting, stone, glass, and finishing works.
- Identify and resolve execution issues proactively.
- Prepare snag lists and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout project execution.
- Verify project readiness for key milestones and handovers.
Contractor & Vendor Coordination:
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, fabricators, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and contractor performance.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of project materials.
- Follow up on pending activities and resolve execution bottlenecks.
- Track material usage and prevent unnecessary delays or wastage.
Project Monitoring:
- Track project timelines and key milestones.
- Conduct site progress reviews and coordination meetings.
- Prepare weekly project status reports.
- Escalate risks, delays, and coordination challenges proactively.
- Support project scheduling and execution planning.
Design Coordination:
- Act as the execution interface between the design team and site teams.
- Review drawings and details prior to execution.
- Coordinate design clarifications and site-related modifications.
- Ensure design intent and detailing are properly translated into executed work.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
- Attend client meetings and project review discussions.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports.
- Address execution-related queries professionally and promptly.
- Support a positive and transparent client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in interior project execution, project coordination, or interior fit-out management.
- Proven experience managing residential interior projects.
- Strong experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Experience conducting quality inspections and project reviews.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidate should be based in or around Ernakulam.

- Luxury residences and villas and high-end residential interiors
- Renovation projects
- Commercial interiors and office fit-outs
- Hospitality projects
- Design-build or turnkey projects
Technical Skills: ability to read architectural and interior drawings, understand construction methodologies, use Excel and basic CAD/PDF markups, and prepare site reports.
Compensation: competitive salary based on experience, project exposure and demonstrated execution capability.
Travel Requirements:
- This will be a hybrid role - remote/work from home + site visits
- Only candidates based in Ernakulam district may apply.
- Must be willing to travel across Kerala for project-related site visits and reviews.
- Comfortable undertaking regular site inspections, coordination meetings and quality reviews at project locations.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
