Role Summary
The CI Specialist supports execution of improvement programs within GBS Finance by applying structured problem-solving and Lean/Six Sigma tools. The role focuses on delivering measurable improvements at process level and supporting transformation initiatives along with CI Lead.
Role-Level Expectations
- Deliver assigned improvement initiatives within defined scope and timelines
- Apply standard CI tools and methodologies effectively in project execution
- Analyze data and generate insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with finance operations teams to implement improvements
- Continuously build functional and CI capability
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or transformation roles
- Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred) with practical experience
- Exposure to finance processes (P2P, FPA, R2R) is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed process mapping and data analysis to understand current-state performance
- Support identify root causes of inefficiencies using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis
- Support execution of Lean/Six Sigma projects, including DMAIC phases under supervision
- Identify and quantify improvement opportunities related to productivity, quality, and cycle time
- Support implementation of standardized processes and documentation of best practices
- Track and report project performance metrics and benefits realization
- Collaborate with GBS finance teams to drive adoption of process changes
- Prepare analysis and presentations for project reviews and stakeholder updates
- Support CI training sessions and capability-building initiatives
- Ensure adherence to governance and project management standards
