Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Instrumentation / Electrical & PLC Engineer to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, instrumentation, PLCs, and automation equipment in our agrochemical manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, SCADA, and control panels.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in automation equipment and electrical machinery.
- Calibrate and maintain field instruments, sensors, transmitters, and gauges.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and plant SOPs.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain maintenance logs and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in the Agrochemical, Agriculture, Chemical, Fertilizer, Pesticide, or Process Manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.), HMI, VFD, and industrial automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and preventive maintenance.
