Operate glass polishing machines (edge polishing, beveling, or straight-line machines)
Set machine parameters (speed, pressure, coolant flow) based on glass thickness and finish requirement
Inspect glass for scratches, chips, or finishing defects
Ensure proper edge finishing (flat, arris, beveled as per requirement)
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
Monitor coolant levels and ensure proper lubrication
Maintain production targets without compromising quality
Follow safety protocols while handling fragile glass materials
Coordinate with supervisors and QC team for quality checks
Required Skills Hands-on experience with glass polishing or grinding machines
Understanding of glass types (float glass, toughened glass, laminated glass)
Ability to identify defects and finishing issues
Basic machine troubleshooting skills
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
