Your work profile
- We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering leader to drive testing strategy, delivery excellence, and quality transformation initiatives across multiple programs and clients.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and team leadership, with the ability to build and scale high-performing QA teams while ensuring successful project outcomes.
Quality Engineering Leadership
- Define and drive Quality Engineering strategy across multiple projects and portfolios.
- Establish testing governance, standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Lead quality transformation initiatives, including automation, shift-left testing, and AI-assisted testing adoption.
- Drive continuous improvement through quality metrics, defect analytics, and process optimization.
Program & Delivery Management
- Oversee end-to-end testing delivery for large-scale programs across Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Manage test planning, estimation, resourcing, risk management, and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to quality, schedule, and budget commitments.
- Provide proactive issue identification, escalation management, and resolution.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Business, Product, Development, Architecture, and Operations teams to define quality objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders on testing and quality matters.
- Present delivery status, quality metrics, risks, and recommendations to leadership teams.
Test Automation & Modern Engineering Practices
- Drive adoption of test automation frameworks for UI, API, ETL, and mobile applications.
- Promote CI/CD integration, DevOps practices, and continuous testing.
- Support implementation of cloud-native testing, service virtualization, and test data management solutions.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI-driven testing solutions.
People Leadership
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing QA teams.
- Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, and succession planning.
- Drive hiring, capability development, and competency-building initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Business Development & Practice Building
- Support pre-sales activities, RFP/RFI responses, solutioning, and client presentations.
- Identify opportunities for quality transformation and testing-led growth.
- Contribute to practice development through accelerators, reusable assets, thought leadership, and capability-building initiatives.
Key skills required
- 10–15+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
- Proven experience leading large QA teams and managing multiple concurrent programs.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience in Test Automation, API Testing, Data Testing, and Performance Testing.
- Expertise in test management and defect management tools.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Telecom, Retail, or similar enterprise domains.
