Quantity Analysis & Billing Engineer – Building Construction Projects

About the Role
We are looking for a Quantity Analysis & Billing Engineer to be based at our Mumbai head office, supporting building construction projects through quantity take-offs, BOQ analysis, billing verification, and cost control.
This role is ideal for engineers who are strong with drawings, measurements, BOQs, and Excel, and who enjoy working in a structured office environment coordinating with multiple site teams and consultants.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuantity Analysis & BOQ
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings for civil works.
- Analyse BOQs and compare quantities with drawings and specifications.
- Assist in quantity validation for tenders, variations, and extra items.
- Support rate analysis and quantity justifications.
Billing & Measurement
- Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills.
- Check measurements, quantities, and rate applicability as per BOQ and contract conditions.
- Coordinate with site teams for measurement sheets, abstracts, and supporting documents.
- Assist in client / consultant billing submissions and responses to queries.
Cost & Documentation Support
- Maintain quantity abstracts, billing trackers, and cost comparison sheets.
- Support preparation of variation statements, deviation quantities, and reconciliation reports.
- Assist in preparation of as-built quantity records and completion documentation.
- Maintain proper filing and version control of drawings and billing records.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification:
- Diploma or BE / BTech in Civil Engineering
- Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in quantity analysis, measurement, and billing for building construction projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of drawings, BOQs, specifications, and measurement practices.
- Familiarity with contract billing formats used in institutional / government / commercial projects.
- Software Skills:
- MS Excel (strong), MS Word
- AutoCAD (for quantity take-offs – reading & measurement)
- Work Style:
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers and documentation.
