Tall Mount Publications is inviting applications for the position of Publishing & Digital Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on the preservation and digital revival of the literary works of legendary Malayalam author Kottayam Pushpanath, whose detective, horror, science fiction, and mystery novels have entertained generations of readers.
Your work will involve digitizing books, correcting OCR-generated text, proofreading Malayalam content, formatting manuscripts for eBook and print publication, and helping prepare books for global distribution through platforms such as Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. Every project you complete will contribute to preserving an important part of Kerala's literary heritage for future generations.
We are looking for enthusiastic students and recent graduates who possess strong reading and writing skills in Malayalam, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in books, publishing, literature, or digital preservation. Applicants from disciplines such as Malayalam, English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Library & Information Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Design, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in publishing is not required; training will be provided.
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹6,000.00 per month
