We are looking for passionate and highly skilled Mathematics Teachers who can teach students across Grades 3–10 while integrating Vedic Mathematics into their regular teaching. Knowledge of and the ability to teach Vedic Math is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Position Overview
The Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with the appropriate curriculum while incorporating Vedic Math techniques to improve students' speed, accuracy, mental calculation, and mathematical confidence.
The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, enjoys working with children, and believes in making mathematics enjoyable and meaningful.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students from Grades 3–10.
- Integrate Vedic Mathematics techniques into regular math lessons to enhance computational skills.
- Explain mathematical concepts using multiple teaching strategies and real-life applications.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding rather than encouraging rote memorization.
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and interactive lessons.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs of students with varying abilities.
- Encourage critical thinking, logical reasoning, and mathematical problem-solving.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Conduct online classes using digital teaching tools when required.
- Participate in teacher training sessions, curriculum development, and professional development activities.
Mandatory RequirementVedic Math is an essential component of this role.
Applicants must:
- Have a strong understanding of Vedic Mathematics techniques.
- Be able to teach Vedic Math alongside the school mathematics curriculum.
- Demonstrate how Vedic Math can improve speed, accuracy, and mental calculation.
- Incorporate Vedic Math strategies naturally into classroom instruction rather than teaching them as isolated tricks.
Candidates without practical knowledge of Vedic Mathematics will not be considered for this position.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (school or coaching institute preferred).
- Strong command of Mathematics for Grades 3–10.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or formal training in Vedic Mathematics.
- Experience teaching CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge, IB, or State Board curricula.
- Experience teaching online using platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet.
- Familiarity with digital whiteboards and interactive teaching tools.
