Job Summary:
The Mobilizer will play a vital role in identifying and mobilizing Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to participate in APD’s training and livelihood programs. The role requires extensive networking with government institutions, local community stakeholders, and NGOs to
ensure effective outreach and enrolment of eligible candidates. In addition to mobilization, the Mobilizer will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of outreach activities and preparing timely reports to support program monitoring and review.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strong networks with government departments, NGOs, community workers, and institutions to identify potential candidates.
Mobilize eligible Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) for training, skilling, and placement programs.
Conduct awareness sessions and community meetings to promote APD’s programs.
Ensure mobilization meets the criteria and numbers required for the center.
Facilitate smooth enrolment and onboarding of candidates into training programs.
Support the operations team in ensuring candidates are prepared for training and placement.
Document mobilization activities, maintain accurate records, and provide timely reports.
Participate in outreach events, job fairs, and community activities to widen reach.
Act as a liaison between community stakeholders and the organization to strengthen relationships.
Accountability:
Report to Coordinator – Operations / Operations Manager.
Ensure mobilization targets are achieved within timelines.
Maintain transparency and ethical practices in community mobilization.
Ensure timely documentation and reporting of all field activities.
Working Conditions:
Field-based role requiring regular travel within assigned geography.
Full-time position with standard work schedule (Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on program needs).
Occasional weekend/holiday work may be required for community events or mobilization drives.
