Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Site Engineer Trainee to join our Customer Service team. The candidate will assist in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of bagging and automation machines at customer sites. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with basic technical knowledge who are eager to build a career in industrial automation and field service engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in installation and commissioning of bagging machines and automation equipment at customer sites.
- Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Provide basic technical support to customers during service activities.
- Maintain service reports, job records, and documentation related to site activities.
- Learn machine operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Assist in conducting operator training for customers regarding machine usage and safety practices.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Production, QC, and Design for smooth execution of service activities.
- Participate in quality improvement and preventive maintenance activities.
- Follow company safety standards and field service procedures during site work.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Electronics systems.
- Strong interest in industrial automation and machine servicing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently for site work and customer support.
- Quick learning ability and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Educational Qualification
ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in service/support roles.
- Candidates with exposure to industrial machines or automation systems will have an added advantage.
