Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Manager (SDM) to drive and expand insurance sales through bank partnerships. The role focuses on relationship management, revenue generation, and enhancing productivity across assigned bank branches.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bank branch managers and staff
- Ensure product visibility and effective positioning within bank branches
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Generate leads through the bank’s existing customer base
- Conduct joint sales calls with bank staff to close deals
Product Promotion & Team Support
- Promote life insurance products (Term Plans, ULIPs, Savings Plans)
- Motivate and support bank staff in cross-selling insurance products
- Participate in regular sales meetings and performance reviews
Customer Engagement
- Meet customers for financial planning discussions at nearby branches
- Recommend suitable insurance solutions based on customer needs
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate (Mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience (any industry)
- Experience in Banking / Insurance / BFSI sales is an added advantage
Key Skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills

- Good communication skills (English & Tamil preferred)
