Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end execution of Pharma API plant projects.
- Prepare project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate Greenfield, Brownfield, expansion, and modernization projects.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Engineering & Design Coordination
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC, Utility, and Process Engineering teams.
- Review engineering drawings including:
- PFDs & P&IDs
- Equipment Layouts
- Utility Layouts
- HVAC Layouts
- GA Drawings
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet GMP requirements.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Finalize technical specifications for equipment.
- Coordinate vendor selection and technical evaluations.
- Monitor manufacturing, inspections, dispatch, and installation.
- Manage contractor performance and project deliverables.
Construction & Installation
- Supervise site activities and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate civil, structural, piping, equipment erection, and utility installation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- cGMP
- WHO GMP
- USFDA
- EU GMP
- Schedule M
- Support IQ/OQ/PQ activities.
- Coordinate validation and qualification activities.
- Ensure documentation complies with regulatory expectations.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare project budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Control project costs through effective planning and resource optimization.
- Review contractor bills and project invoices.
- Generate periodic MIS and cost reports.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal departments.
- Present project updates to senior management.
- Resolve technical and commercial issues.
Documentation
- Maintain project documentation including:
- DPRs
- Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports
- MOMs
- Change Requests
- Risk Registers
- Project Close-out Reports
