About the Role
We are a family office managing the investments, assets, and financial affairs of the family and its associated entities. We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Operations Executive to support the smooth running of our day-to-day back-office and investment operations. The role is central to ensuring that transactions, records, and documentation are processed accurately, on time, and in line with regulatory requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to gain broad exposure to investment operations, securities processing, and the workings of a family office.
Key Responsibilities:
Securities & Investment Operations
* Execute and track share transfers across demat and physical holdings, coordinating with brokers, custodians, RTAs (Registrar & Transfer Agents), and depositories (NSDL / CDSL).
* Process share conversions (dematerialisation of physical shares and other conversion requests), ensuring correct documentation and follow-up until completion.
* Maintain accurate records of shareholdings, transactions, and portfolio positions across family entities.
Back-Office & Transaction Processing
* Perform periodic reconciliations of broker / custodian statements, and demat holdings; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
* Coordinate with banks, brokers, custodians, and other counterparties for operational matters and query resolution.
* Assist with vendor payments, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
Onboarding & Documentation
* Manage onboarding tasks for new accounts, brokers, bank, and other service providers, including collection and verification of required documents.
* Ensure completion and upkeep of KYC / AML documentation and other compliance paperwork.
* Maintain organised digital and physical filing of agreements, statements, and records.
Reporting & Compliance Support
* Prepare and update transaction summaries, and portfolio statements for review.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
* Minimum 1 year of work experience in a relevant field (investment operations, back-office, banking, securities, brokerage, or a similar finance function).
* Sound understanding of financial instruments, securities, and basic investment concepts.
* Working knowledge of demat operations, depositories (NSDL / CDSL), and RTA processes is an advantage.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort working with financial systems / portfolio management software.
Preferred Attributes
* Experience in a family office, wealth management firm, brokerage, or financial services environment.
* Familiarity with corporate actions processing and reconciliations.
* Proactive, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
* Professional integrity and a strong sense of confidentiality.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
