Position Overview
Optics & Allied Engg. Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PPC Engineer to manage production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and order execution for precision optical and engineering components. The role requires close coordination with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch to ensure timely delivery while maintaining optimum inventory levels and production efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Develop production schedules considering machine capacity, manpower availability, and material readiness.
- Ensure timely release of Work Orders (WO) to production.
Production Control
- Monitor daily production against the plan and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Follow up with production departments to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate with all departments to achieve on-time delivery targets.
Material Planning
- Review material availability and coordinate with the Purchase and Stores Departments.
- Raise material requisitions based on production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock.
Order Management
- Track customer orders from receipt to dispatch.
- Ensure timely completion and delivery of customer requirements.
- Update order status and communicate delays to the concerned departments.
Coordination
- Coordinate with:

- Ensure smooth workflow across all departments.
Production Monitoring
- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP).
- Prepare production progress reports.
- Track machine utilization and production efficiency.
Documentation & MIS
- Maintain production planning records.
- Prepare Daily Production Reports (DPR).
- Generate weekly and monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain production schedules and dispatch records.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
- Support productivity improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies.
- Follow ISO 9001 and AS9100 procedures.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and traceability.
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering
- 2-4 years of experience in PPC, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Operations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
