Job Summary:
The Nursery Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment for young children. The role involves planning and conducting age-appropriate, activity-based lessons, supporting children’s academic and overall development, maintaining classroom discipline, and encouraging positive social and emotional skills. The teacher will also observe and assess students’ progress, maintain necessary records, communicate with parents, and actively participate in school activities and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach kindergarten students using age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment conducive to learning and development.
- Plan and implement daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure holistic development of students.
- Assess student progress and communicate with parents about their child's development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Participate in school events and activities.
- Stay updated with current trends and best practices in early childhood education.
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions.
Qualifications
- NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) / DIET (District Institute of Education and Training) / B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) / Graduate with relevant experience + B. Ed.
- CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) + Experience Preferred
