Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri; hours based on customer support needs
Travel: ~30% within India and potentially abroad
Tryon Solutions specializes in working with companies that are looking to transform their supply chain systems which includes implementations, continuous improvement processes, automation, test management, and support. Our solutions streamline distribution operations, maintain system reliability, and give customers confidence that their processes and product flows are accurate. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Manager excited about implementing supply chain software and providing consultation to ensure project profitability. The Project Manager will use their years of industry experience to learn clients’ businesses and needs, outline solutions implementation(s), and monitor projects to maximize success. The PM will be the bridge between Tryon delivering outstanding services and engaging customers to facilitate implementation seamlessness. In this role, your strong interpersonal skills will serve you well.
How you’ll contribute:

Participate and support Sales in presentations to prospective customers and transition process from Sales to Delivery

Establish healthy customer relationships and foster them toward success for all parties

Learn, understand, refine, and document project scope with customers including deliverables and expected
outcomes

Build detailed project plans including project scope, deliverables, and expected outcomes

Assign Team Members accordingly and manage the project teams, including approving time entered into the
project

Monitor project progress to ensure deliverables are timely and meet all quality standards/expectations

Facilitate all customer meetings and document decisions, timeline changes, action items, etc.

Balance deliverable effectiveness and customer obligations to the contract

Adapt and manage change though a formal change control process

Accurately track and update project progress and financials

Document and maintain project issues, questions, and risk/mitigation

Produce a detailed weekly status report both internally and externally following department standards

Communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of management and customers in a direct and candid
manner

Establish ownership and empower project Team Members to successfully complete work to Tryon’s quality standards

Collaborate with proper contacts to timely resolve issues

Participate in regular customer executive review meetings
-
Identify opportunities such as upgrades, enhancements, and support; communicate potential solutions to customers and coordinate implementation/concurrent projects when approved

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business degree, or a closely related field of study

5+ years of experience managing the delivery of WMS supply chain solutions

5+ years of experience managing delivery teams, specifically in a consultation role

Excellent presentation and communication skills. Bring your “sales style” panache!

Proven track record of account/client management, especially with different levels of management

Strong experience with Microsoft tools including Project, Visio, SharePoint; JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Aha!

Desire and ability to travel about 50% of the time, including anywhere in the India and United States and may be assigned to work at client sites across or outside of the United States

Obtain or meet necessary health and legal guidelines, programs, and travel requirements
