Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Skill Development Head to lead the organization's skill development initiatives across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, implementing, and managing large-scale skill development programs, collaborating with government agencies, industry partners, training institutions, and internal stakeholders.
The Skill Development Head will be responsible for driving strategy, ensuring compliance with national skill development frameworks, overseeing program execution, monitoring outcomes, and expanding partnerships to enhance employability and livelihood opportunities for beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the organization's skill development strategy aligned with SSRDP's mission and objectives.
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of vocational training and livelihood programs across multiple locations.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government departments, Sector Skill Councils, NSDC, CSR partners, industries, educational institutions, and funding agencies.
- Identify emerging skill requirements and design industry-relevant training programs to improve employability.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government guidelines, quality standards, accreditation requirements, and funding norms.
- Oversee training center operations, faculty performance, curriculum implementation, assessments, certifications, and placement activities.
- Establish systems for monitoring program performance through KPIs, MIS reports, audits, and impact assessments.
- Drive placement, apprenticeship, entrepreneurship, and livelihood initiatives for trained candidates.
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional and center-level teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, vendor relationships, and overall program profitability and sustainability.
- Collaborate with internal departments including finance, HR, operations, communications, and project management for effective program delivery.
- Identify new funding opportunities and contribute to proposal development for government and CSR projects.
- Represent SSRDP at industry forums, stakeholder meetings, conferences, and government engagements.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Master's degree in Management, Social Work, Rural Development, Education, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications related to Skill Development, NSDC, Project Management, or Training & Development will be an added advantage.
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in skill development, vocational education, workforce development, livelihood programs, or training operations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale government or CSR-funded skill development projects.
- Strong understanding of the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), PMKVY, DDU-GKY, NAPS, NIESBUD, NSDC ecosystem, and Sector Skill Councils.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, program implementation, compliance, monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
