About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Head to lead our sales and business expansion activities. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in the Storage Racking, Warehouse Solutions, Material Handling, Industrial Equipment, or related manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, e-commerce, retail, and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, project management companies, and channel partners.
- Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging business opportunities.
- Prepare and present business proposals, commercial offers, and project presentations.
- Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to increase market penetration.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and business plans.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and business development team.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Storage Racking Systems and Warehouse Solutions.
- Excellent B2B Sales and Corporate Client Acquisition skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Experience in handling large-value industrial projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting.
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
