Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in operating VMC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Key Skills Required
- Operating CNC machines independently.
- Knowledge of:
- Fanuc controllers
- Tool setting and offset correction
- Job loading and fixture setting
- Basic CNC programming understanding
- Ability to read:
- Engineering drawings
- GD&T symbols
- Process sheets
- Experience with:
- Production machining
- Tool changeovers
- Maintaining dimensional accuracy
- Knowledge of measuring instruments:
- Vernier caliper
- Micrometer
- Bore gauge
- Height gauge
- Understanding of:
- Cutting tools
- Speeds & feeds
- Coolant usage
- Preventive machine maintenance
Responsibilities
- Operate VMC machines for production jobs.
- Load/unload components and fixtures.
- Perform tool offset corrections.
- Inspect components as per drawing requirements.
- Maintain production and quality targets.
- Report machine/tool issues to supervisor.
- Follow safety and 5S practices.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Preferred Industry Background
- Automotive
- Precision machining
- IATF equipment components
- Couplings, shafts, flanges, machined rounds, and heavy engineering components
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience in batch production.
- Ability to handle multiple machines.
- Basic understanding of CNC programs (G-code/M-code).
- Experience with C45, EN8, alloy steel machining is an advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
