A Warehouse Helper is responsible for supporting the daily operations of a warehouse by handling goods, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the workplace is organized and safe.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Warehouse Helper
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries.
- Sort, label, and store products in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of inventory and stock movements.
- Assist with stock counting and inventory audits.
- Ensure products are stored properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if trained and authorized).
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Report damaged, missing, or defective items to supervisors.
- Assist in organizing and arranging stock for easy access.
- Help with general warehouse maintenance and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
