Job Summary
As a Parcel Staff member, you will be responsible for packing takeaway and online delivery orders, verifying order accuracy, maintaining food quality and hygiene, and coordinating with delivery partners to ensure timely dispatch. Your role is essential in providing customers with a great takeaway and delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack takeaway and online delivery orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify each order against the Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) or POS system before packing.
- Ensure all food items, quantities, and customer special requests are correct.
- Pack food using appropriate containers to prevent leakage and maintain product quality.
- Include required items such as cutlery, tissues, condiments, and bills where applicable.
- Label parcels correctly with the customer name, order number, and delivery platform.
- Hand over the correct order to customers or delivery personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic packing station.
- Monitor packaging material inventory and report low stock to the Store Manager.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist the restaurant team during peak hours whenever required.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 10th Pass or Higher Secondary.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a restaurant, takeaway, or food delivery environment is mandatory.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and reliability.
