Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Drivers holding a valid HLV (Heavy/Light Vehicle) license to operate trucks and other heavy commercial vehicles for regional deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a proven safety record, strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, and familiarity with local and interstate routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy commercial vehicles (trucks, tempos, HLV-class) for scheduled deliveries and pickups.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo following safety procedures.
- Plan and follow efficient routes; comply with traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report defects or issues promptly.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness (oil, tyre checks, fluid levels).
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery receipts, and any required paperwork.
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding delays, route changes, or incidents.
- Ensure timely delivery while minimizing damage to goods.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid HLV (Heavy/Light Vehicle) driving license (must provide original).
- Minimum 2 years of professional heavy vehicle driving experience (recommend 2–5 years — specify desired).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Knowledge of local and interstate routes across Punjab and neighboring states.
- Ability to handle physical work (loading/unloading assistance when needed).
- Basic literacy to read addresses, logbooks, and simple forms.
- Professional, punctual, and customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, or overnight trips as required.
Preferred
- Experience with refrigerated or specialized cargo (if applicable).
- Valid commercial vehicle fitness certificate or endorsements.
- Certificate in defensive driving or similar training.

मुख्य जिम्मेदारियाँ

- बुनियादी वाहन रखरखाव और सफाई करना (तेल, टायर जांच, तरल स्तर)।
- सटीक ट्रिप लॉग, डिलीवरी रसीदें और अन्य आवश्यक कागजी कार्य बनाए रखना।
- विलंब, मार्ग परिवर्तन या किसी घटना के बारे में डिस्पैच और सुपरवाइज़रों के साथ संचार करना।
- समय पर डिलीवरी सुनिश्चित करना और माल को नुकसान से बचाना।
योग्यता और आवश्यकताएँ
- वैध HLV (Heavy/Light Vehicle) ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस (मूल दिखाना अनिवार्य)।
- कम से कम 2 वर्षों का पेशेवर हैवी व्हीकल ड्राइविंग अनुभव (सुझाव: 2–5 वर्ष — वांछित संख्या बताएं)।
- प्रमुख ट्रैफिक उल्लंघनों के बिना साफ ड्राइविंग रिकॉर्ड।
