The Architecture Draftsman in a company is responsible for producing accurate and detailed architectural drawings, plans, and documents that are essential for the successful completion of construction and structural design projects. This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure that designs are translated into precise technical drawings.
· Create architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
· Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project specifications and design standards.
· Collaborate with architects and designers to incorporate design changes and revisions.
· Generate accurate and comprehensive drawings for permit applications and regulatory compliance.
· Coordinate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical components into architectural drawings.
· Create presentation drawings and visualizations to effectively communicate design ideas.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position.
· Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting.
- Knowledge of architectural and construction principles.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with architects and engineers.
- Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus
