We are hiring a Delivery Coordinator to join our engineering delivery team. This is an entry-level role designed for freshers who are organized, proactive, and want to build a career at the intersection of project management and quality assurance.
Your job is simple to describe but challenging to do well: make sure the projects you support are delivered on time. You will not write code, you will not design test cases on your own, and you will not handle clients. Instead, you will be the person who keeps everyone honest about commitments, surfaces problems early, and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks.
You will work alongside experienced PMs, QAs, and engineers who will train you. Over 12–18 months, you can grow into a full Delivery Coordinator role with ownership of multiple projects.
What You'll Do (Day to Day)
- Attend daily standups and take notes on what every team member committed to — and follow up the next day to check if it actually happened.
- Maintain the project tracker (JIRA / ClickUp) — make sure every ticket has a clear status, owner, and due date. Chase team members to update stale tickets.
- Help the PM prepare sprint plans by listing pending stories, dependencies, and blockers.
- Track QA cycles — when testing starts, how many bugs are open, when signoff is expected — and flag delays early.
- Maintain a simple risk and blocker list for each project; nudge owners to resolve them.
- Prepare weekly delivery status updates for the PM and engineering leads — what's on track, what's at risk, what needs attention.
- Coordinate release readiness checks — make sure deployment steps, smoke tests, and signoffs are completed before any release goes live.
- Sit in on demos and retrospectives, take notes, and convert feedback into tracked action items.
What We're Looking For
This role is about attitude and habits more than experience. We will train you on tools and processes. What we cannot train is:
- Genuine ownership — when something is on your list, it gets done. You do not need to be reminded twice.
- Comfort with follow-up — you are okay nudging an engineer or QA five times in a day to keep work moving. You do not feel awkward asking 'is this done yet?'
- Attention to detail — you notice when a ticket is missing a due date, when a status hasn't been updated for three days, when a deployment checklist has a step that was skipped.
- Clear written communication in English — short, factual updates without unnecessary jargon.
- Curiosity about software — you do not need to code, but you should be interested in how software is built, tested, and shipped.
- Patience and steadiness — delivery work is repetitive and detail-heavy. You should find satisfaction in things running smoothly, not chaos.
Eligibility
- Any graduate (B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, BBA, B.Com, or equivalent)
- Comfortable working from our Lucknow office full-time.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and basic familiarity with any project tracking tool (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Strong written and spoken English.
What You'll Learn
In your first 6 months, you will get hands-on exposure to:
- How real software projects are planned, estimated, and delivered to paying clients.
- Agile and Scrum practices in a working environment, not a textbook.
- Industry-standard tools — JIRA, Slack, GitHub, staging environments, deployment pipelines.
- How QA, engineering, design, and PM functions work together — and how to spot when one of them is becoming a bottleneck.
- How to communicate risk and status clearly to senior stakeholders.
