The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with pharmaceutical companies, understanding customer process requirements, and providing suitable equipment solutions. The ideal candidate should possess both technical knowledge and strong sales skills to effectively promote pharmaceutical process equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, client visits, networking, and digital platforms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, API, and nutraceutical manufacturers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable process equipment.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with the design and estimation teams.
- Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
- Attend exhibitions, seminars, and industry events to generate leads.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Support customers during installation, commissioning coordination, and after-sales discussions whenever required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
